At SunMed Growers, the type of cannabis oil we use for our Sunnies Edibles is just as intentional as the flavors we pair with it. From fast-acting nano THC to precisely formulated cannabinoid blends and strain-specific live resin, each oil serves a different purpose.

Fast-Acting Gummies = Nano Oil
What Is It?
Cannabis oil and water naturally don’t mix. Nano-emulsification breaks cannabis oil into extremely small droplets, allowing it to be evenly dispersed in a water-based mixture.
Our nano-emulsion is made fully in-house, giving our team control over quality and consistency from start to finish.
How Is It Made?
During nano-emulsification, cannabis oil is broken into droplets approximately 10–100 nanometers in size. The smaller particle size allows THC to be absorbed differently than it is in a traditional oil-based edible.

Ratioed Gummies = Distillate + Minor Cannabinoids
What Is It?
Distillate is a highly refined cannabis oil that provides a clean, consistent foundation for precise edible formulations. It can be paired with carefully measured minor cannabinoids such as CBD, CBN, CBC and THCv to create specific cannabinoid ratios.
How Is It Made?
Cannabis extract goes through refinement to separate and concentrate cannabinoids from other plant compounds. The resulting distillate can then be precisely measured and combined with selected minor cannabinoids.
Why Is It Ideal for Ratioed Gummies?
With Ratioed Gummies, the ratio is the recipe. Using distillate allows us to create consistent combinations of THC and minor cannabinoids from gummy to gummy.

What Is It?
Live resin is a full-spectrum cannabis extract made to preserve more of the cannabinoids and aromatic terpenes that give an individual strain its unique character.
How Is It Made?
It starts with flower that is frozen shortly after harvest rather than traditionally dried and cured. The fresh-frozen material then undergoes extraction to separate its cannabinoids and terpenes while retaining more of the original strain’s profile.

Because the strain is part of the flavor story. Sunnies Live Resin Gummies use strain-specific, single-source live resin, with gummy flavors selected to complement the characteristics of the flower they came from.
